How to Clean a Dell A920 Printer
- 1). Wet a soft cloth and wring it out to remove excess moisture.
- 2). Gently wipe your Dell A920 printer with the damp cloth to remove dust and dirt.
- 3). Dry the printer with a towel to remove all moisture.
- 1). Raise the scanner cover on your Dell A920 and spray a small amount of glass cleaner on a soft cloth.
- 2). Wipe the cloth onto the scanner glass to remove dust and fingerprints.
- 3). Wipe the scanner with a dry cloth immediately to remove excess window cleaner and remove any streaks.
- 4). Shut the scanner lid and plug the Dell A920 printer back in.
- 1). Load printer paper into your Dell A920 Printer.
- 2). Open the Dell Printer Solution Center on the computer. Click "Start," located in the bottom left corner of your computer. Select "Programs" from the menu displayed. Click "Dell printers." Click "Dell AIO Printer A920" and then click "Dell Printer Solution Center" to open the Dell Printer Solution Center.
- 3). Click on the "Maintenance" tab and select the option that says, "Clean to fix horizontal streaks."
- 4). Click "Print." This will print a nozzle print page, which forces ink through all of the nozzles to clean and unclog them.
- 5). Print a regular document again to see if the print quality has improved. Repeat the cycle up to two more times to improve printing quality.
