U.S. Coach Tours to Wineries
- Through the Texas Wine Tours, the limo bus picks you up at your Fredericksburg area hotel and takes you on an all-day tour of five of the local wineries, including the Chisholm Trail Winery, featuring a Lenoir wine with an aroma of ripe plums, tart cranberries and green apples. Your guide will stop at each winery for around an hour before moving on, and often the last vineyard will play live entertainment during your tasting. As of 2010, the basic long tour costs $139 a person and includes the tour, lunch and tasting fees.
- Napa Wine Tours offers tours from the San Francisco area to the Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley wineries. You may select from five to 12 of the local wineries, or your guide will choose some of the best ones for you, like the Kunde Estate, which has been family-owned for over five generations and offers tastings of their newest wines, some only found in their wine club. The Napa Wine Tour begins at 9 a.m. and lasts six hours.
- With Oregon Wine Tour's VIP Tour Packages, you will be treated to a private tour in one of the company's vans, with up to six people. Your guide will get you access into secluded wineries not open to the general public, where you can sample tastings, along with gourmet chocolates and fine cheeses. You will experience Oregon's own brand of Pinot Noir, along with watching winemakers at work.
