How to Remove the Field Charger on a Trane Electronic Air Cleaner
- 1). Push the power button on the power door and hold for three seconds. Wait for the light to go off. This should take about 15 seconds.
- 2). Disconnect the power/control cable attached to the door.
- 3). Grab the handles and, using your thumbs, push the latches up. Pull the door off the frame and set it aside in safe spot.
- 4). Bend back the metal locking tabs on the field charger compartment to release the field charger.
- 5). Slide the field charger out of its compartment. Lay the field charger on a flat, stable surface.
