This is not only great for holding Christmas cards or birthday cards but you can also use it to hold photos. The great thing is you can decorate it to coordinate with your room decor.

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Materials Needed:

• Yardstick
• 12 Spring-Type Clothespins
• Ribbon
• Paint
• Craft Glue or Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
• Paint Brush
• Scissors

Instructions:
Start out by painting the yard stick and the clothespins whatever color or colors you like. Let them dry.

Glue the clothespins onto the yard stick, spacing them evenly, about every 3-inches. Glue them so they are perpendicular to the yard stick and also alternate the side the pinching part of the clothespin is on. Let the glue dry.

At this time, you can decorate your stick however you like. You can decorate it using ribbons and bows or paint or write a special message down the yard stick. You can also decorate it with other craft supplies you have on hand like rhinestones, buttons, or glitter.
