- 1). Insert your Windows 7 installation disc into your computer's optical drive and restart the system.
- 2). Wait for the system to load the "Advanced Boot Options" screen and then use the arrow keys to highlight the "Repair your Computer" option. Press the "Enter" button.
- 3). Select your keyboard layout from the menu and then click the "Next" button to load the recovery options.
- 4). Click on the "Startup Repair" option from the menu and wait for the tool to repair your boot.ini file.
- 5). Wait for the system to restart with the STOP code repaired.
