How to Draw Gangster Characters in Love

    • 1). Form the male gangster's head on the left side of the page, looking to the right on a 3/4 view -- not profile. Add the facial characteristics, ensuring you design a smile.

    • 2). Draw the gangster's fedora (hat) by making a wide but short trapezoid covering the upper side of the man's head to make the brim. Form a narrow but higher trapezoid (with slightly curved sides) on top of the brim and add a strip on its base.

    • 3). Design the man's shoulders and arms. Stretch his left arm slightly, as with it the gangster is supposed to hold the girl. Draw two slightly curved lines from the armpits going downwards, until you reach the belt.

    • 4). Draw the legs. The lines must not be perfectly straight, to make the garment more realistic. Add the man's shoes and move back to the torso to add details, such as the tie, the lapels and the jacket's buttons.

    • 5). Form the girl's head slightly lower than the man's, on the right right side of the page. Have her looking towards the man on a 3/4 view, smiling. Form the shoulders before drawing the visible part of her long hair

    • 6). Draw the girl's right hand holding the man's left hand. Give her long gloves, reaching slightly above the elbow to avoid drawing details of her hands.

    • 7). Design a one-piece dress, starting from her chest and ending right below her knees. The two curved lines forming the dress must come closer near the waist, open up on the pelvis and come closer again as you reach the knees.

    • 8). Draw a short, vertical, curved line in the middle of the dress's top to stress that part of the female anatomy. Form the girl's calves and add high heel shoes.

    • 9). Use brown or dark blue color for the man's suit, matching the hat with it. Paint the shirt black and leave both the tie and the hat's stripe white. Use black for the shoes, leaving the space around the shoelaces white.

Paint the girl's dress red, using the same color for the shoes. Leave the long gloves white. Her hair color is your choice, as you can make her brunette, redhead or blonde. Use pale orange to paint both characters' skin.
