As we all know cats are tremendously independent and the will let you know in their time what they want to do.
Doesn't matter what you want to do, it will be up to your cat as to what they want to play or just sleep.
Some behaviors in cats are funny and some are not.
Most cats or kittens know how to use the litter box as mommy would have taught them when they were babies, long before they have been taken away.
If they do not know how; then it us up to you to teach them.
Sounds crazy I know but it you don't they will be messing all over the house and believe me you do not want that.
Once you have set up the litter box and you see your cat circling trying to find a place to go, pick them up and put them in the litter box.
Cats will circle, trying to find that special spot and the litter box should be it.
Cats will tinkle where they smell urine.
If they make a mistake and drop in on the floor, be sure to clean it up right away and then have the cat smell it and then take it to the litter box.
This does not sound pleasant I know but it must be done to save your sanity and your home.
When your favorite cat starts to hiss at you or guests, they are frightened or they are defending their territory.
Many will think that guests are other cats coming in to take over their homes.
Cats think differently than we do, well sometimes they do.
Remember they are very intelligent and pick up on certain people that may be bad people.
Watch and listen to them, he is telling you to back off or back away, far away.
Understanding what the cat's hissing means you will all be a lot happier.
The worst thing a cat can do is spray on the walls and carpet; the smell will bowl you over for sure.
To prevent this from happening have your cat spayed or neutered as soon as possible.
You will have a happier cat and you will be happy too.
So if you really love your cat, take care of them and they will give you a life time of fun and antics.
My thinking is to get two of them; they can keep each other company, double the fun.
