How to Convert PST File to 2007
- 1). Open Microsoft Outlook 2007.
- 2). Click the "File" menu, then select "Data File Management." Click the "Data Files" tab, then click "Add."
- 3). Click "Office Outlook Personal Folders File (.pst). Click "OK."
- 4). Enter a name for the new PST file, then click "OK." The "Create Microsoft Personal Folders" dialog box opens. Enter a display name for the PST file, which is what will appear in Navigation Pane in Outlook.
- 5). Enter a password for the PST file if you want to keep it secure. Re-enter the password and click "OK." Click "Close" in the "Account Settings" window.
- 6). Click the "File" menu, then "Import and Export" to import your old PST file data.
- 7). Click "Import From Another Program or File." Click "Next." Select "Personal Folders File (.pst)." Click "Next."
- 8). Click "Browse" to select the PST file from your computer. By default, the PST file is located under Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.
- 9). Click "Options" to specify how you want to import duplicates. Click "Next."

Click the top folder that contains the PST data you want to import. Select "Include Subfolders." - 11
Select "Import Items Into the Same Folder In," then select the new PST file you just created from the drop-down list. - 12
