Master Spas Operating Instructions
- 1). Remove the front side panel by taking out the screws.
- 2). Inspect the pump and heater unions to ensure they are secure. Also verify that the slice unions are open.
- 3). Fill the spa with water. The water should be 1 inch above the filter, although Master Spas recommends covering the whole filter.
- 4). Turn on the spa. The spa should go through an internal priming process for a few minutes.
- 5). Check that all jets are open inside the tub.
- 6). Bleed air from the motor and pumps, if necessary. To do this, open the union until water comes out and then close the union.
- 7). Add chemicals to the spa. Information on this can be found in the owner's manual. Water testing may be necessary; this requires an at-home kit or taking some water to a local spa dealer.
- 8). Set the water temperature on the control panel. Master Spas notes that the water will heat 5 to 8 degrees F an hour, on average.
