Being old enough to say I was in junior high school in the early seventies gives me the unique perspective on climate changes the junior high school students of today will have tomorrow.
I remember hearing about the returning Ice Age in the classroom so needless to say I have my opinions about the planets ability to rule regardless of our behavior.
I believe it is important to remember in the late sixties into the seventies when Lake Erie was so polluted in areas you could almost walk on it, only problem being the water was almost flammable therefore burning was the fear.
Fast food was emerging into our lives and it was great.
We would guess where the people in the car ahead of us ate as we watched the family size bag of trash getting stuffed out the window onto the highway at sixty five miles per hour.
We did the slug bug thing back then too.
The drive through window was nowhere to be found, we had drive in restaurants and most people did not notice the fact that the server took the trash after the meal.
It was not an issue because there were plenty of ditches along the way to the destination.
We the people changed our ways and I can say without a doubt it does make a difference.
Apparently we are in for another lifestyle overhaul.
Any doubts go to the forty fifth floor of any high rise and look to the horizon, our atmosphere looks like the ditches I saw out the window of our car as a kid.
The need to change our ways should not require government intervention, but I am sure it will.
There are plenty of products and opportunity to start the clean-up right at home.
Here on earth it is important to know the simple reality; on earth humans are less in equivalence than fleas on a dog, therefore unable to destroy our host.
If we do not take care of our surroundings we will become hoarders, what a scene this will be.
