• 1). Visit your bank or another bank's ATM. Insert your Discover Card into the ATM's card slot.
  
  
• 2). Enter the PIN number for your card. If you don't have a PIN number or you lost your PIN, call 800-DISCOVER (800-347-2683) in the U.S. To create a PIN, follow the customer service system's prompts. Call 801-902-3100 if outside of the U.S. Discover Card's customer service department is open round the clock every day.
  
  
• 3). Select "Credit Card" when prompted to provide the type of account from which you are withdrawing money
  
  
• 4). Enter the amount of money you want to withdraw. Select "Accept" when prompted about the fees for withdrawing money from the ATM.
  
  Note: ATMs have a daily cash withdrawal limit that varies from bank to bank. Fees for obtaining the cash advance also vary between banks.
  
  
• 5). Take your money, receipt and Discover card once your transaction is complete.
  
  

Bank

• 1). Visit your bank or another bank in your area. Speak with a teller about obtaining a credit card advance.
  
  
• 2). Provide the bank teller with your Discover card and the amount of money you wish to withdraw.
  
  
• 3). Sign the credit card receipt once the transaction is complete. Take your money, receipt and Discover card.
