"Forever Lasts The Dawn" by Monty Silverstone is a dramatic novel about two young ladies who flee the Ukraine to London.
At first they struggle to adapt in their new homeland but then learn the language and find the steps to success.
One of the two friends finds a job in business and the other in acting.
They find romance, drift apart and lead separate lives, and then come together again to and re-establish the close bond that has existed between them since they both danced on the street for money in the Ukraine.
The story really is a saga of three generations who are tied together by love and high regard as well as by bloodline.
In his novel, Monty Silverstone tells a story of rising from poverty to success, with doors opened and closed, and mixes in romance including erotic scenes, deceit, violence and tyranny.
The author reveals that many of the experiences in "Forever Lasts The Dawn" are drawn from his family's life and that his fictional characters experiences on stage and in business are reflect parts of his life.
Silverstone, a former actor who now runs an acting school, is the father of famous actress Alicia Silverstone.
And that relationship adds to the intrigue in reading the novel as the reader wonders if and where some of Alicia's experiences may appear in the plot.
I really enjoyed reading this book and will be watching to see if Silverstone publishes a sequel or another novel.
