How to Get Rid of In-Progress Movies on HBO On Demand
- 1). Access the “In Progress” list from the cable box’s On Demand menu. Select the HBO On Demand movie you would like to delete from the list. An options menu should open. Look for an option to “Delete” or “Cancel” the movie. If the option is available, highlight and select it.
- 2). Wait until you are ready to stop watching TV. Access the “In Progress” list from the cable box’s On Demand menu. Select the HBO On Demand movie you would like to delete from the list. Resume playback of the movie. Leave the cable box on to allow the movie to play through, but turn the TV off. The program will disappear from your “In Progress” list once it has played all the way through.
- 3). Disconnect the cable box’s power cord. Leave it unplugged for one to two minutes. Plug the power cord back into an electrical outlet. This will reset the cable box. Access the “In Progress” list from the cable box’s On Demand menu. Sometimes resetting the cable box will erase all of the shows listed in the “In Progress” list.
