How to Sleek Natural Black Short Hair
- 1). Spray down all of your hair with a spray bottle filled with water. The hair should be damp enough to work with, but not so much that water drips off it.
- 2). Pass a wide-tooth comb through the hair, starting at the roots and working toward the back of your head. Pull the hair back to the nape of your neck as you comb it out.
- 3). Pull the end of a pintail comb through your hair where you want to make the part in your hair. Start at the hairline on your forehead and drag the comb to the back of your head to create a straight part line.
- 4). Put some styling cream or oil on your palms and rub them together. Start with an amount of cream the size of pea and put on more if you need it.
- 5). Rub the cream or oil into your hair by gently smoothing it from the hairline towards the back of your head. Use long, straight movements to keep the hair from flying up.
- 6). Run the comb through your hair again, making sure it lies flat against your head. Comb the hair on the back of your head down so it is completely straight.
- 7). Spray a very light mist of hairspray over your hair and smooth it out with your hands. This will keep the smallest hairs around your hairline from sticking up.
