The British Blue Cat is a very strong cat, with a body shape which people refer to as "square", as their nearly as long in length as they are broad.

However, a cool living space and also regular hand grooming will be needed to keep any shedding to the very minimum.
The coat of the British Blue is, as the as the name suggests, blue.
This however doesn't mean the blue which you may be thinking about, naturally the cat is a grey colour however in certain lights it will look blue to the human eye.

The width of the shoulder should be the same as the width and if this isn't true then you should look into feeding your cat more, or less, depending on the symptoms.
