Health Reform - Large Insurance Companies Do Not Care About Children
I think that it was obvious for a long time that insurance companies are in the business or rejecting claims and not of insuring people.
The news that came out this morning though is just sad and honestly unacceptable.
Since when is it normal to drop coverage for kids, and especially in a country that solely relies on these policies to insure the children.
They should be fined so hard for what they are trying to do that it wouldn't even run past their minds.
The government is to blame in large for what is going on and even though we would like to point fingers at the health insurance giants it isn't really their fault.
The system in this country designed it so that our health is nothing more but a way for companies to profit.
No one really cares about what happens to the people as long as the providers get rich and pass the money on to the politicians.
All of them already have health plans and more money than they know what to do with so the rest of the populations isn't much of a concern.
This has to stop, and I really do not believe that people should stand for it.
The republicans are fighting against the health reform but no one knows the reason why that is really happening.
Is it really because they think it will hurt the country, or is it that it will hurt their bottom line.
I don't think their health insurance friends are very happy with them at the moment and like twelve year olds they are having a hissy fit while playing games with our health care.
Isn't it the job of the politicians to make things right, I mean that is why they are taking all this money from us in taxes isn't it.
European countries tax their people a bit higher, but a regular citizen there is taken care of way beyond what is offered to us here.
In this country all of the cash seems to flow in only one direction and there is no benefit to us from that.
People think that Ron Paul is insane for wanting to reduce the size of the government and break up the federal reserve, but with everything that is going around us I feel that maybe, just maybe, he is the only sane person around.
The guy has an education beyond what many of us ever achieve and most of the things that he says do make a lot of sense.
The weird thing is that he is a republican as well, but I guess there is no other platform that he can run on where he even stands a chance.
Someone has to deal with these insurance companies, and I demand for it to happen soon.
