How to Attach Sand Paper to a Floor Polisher
- 1). Put the floor polisher in a horizontal position. This will give you easy access to the sanding disks. For safety reasons, the floor polisher should be unplugged while you are doing this.
- 2). Peel the old sandpaper, if any, off of the the sanding pads. Sanding pads are three round discs that are located on the underside of the floor polisher. The spinning of these pads is what helps the floor finisher to make a smooth finish instead of scratching the floor.
- 3). Peel the sandpaper discs off of the film or paper that they are sold on. Most models will have a fabric fastener on the back of each disc.
- 4). Attach the pads onto the sander. Make sure that the pad is centered and pressed down completely so that they do not fall off or slip during the process of floor polishing.
- 5). Stand your floor polisher upright before plugging it in and sanding.
