How to Get Burn Stains Off of Tea Kettles

Rinse the burned areas of the tea kettle with warm water. Use a soft scrub brush to remove any loose debris. - 2). Place the tea kettle in a bowl or sink with the burnt-side down.

Fill the bowl or sink with enough distilled white vinegar so that it covers all the burn stains. - 4). Soak the tea kettle in the vinegar for at least 30 minutes.
- 5). Remove the tea kettle from the vinegar, and mildly scrub the burn stains with hot soapy water. The burn stains should come off with mild scrubbing.
- 6). Rinse with cold water. For really tough stains, repeat this process until all burn marks are removed.
