At the diner, David shows remorse for not getting the rights on Matthew’s story. He tells his brother that he would have played Matthew, of course as an older character. Bo joins them and asks the teen if he’s scheduled his surgery yet. Matt has left several messages for Greg, but has heard nothing.

Oliver knows in his heart he’ll never see his parents again. Minutes later there’s a knock at the door and it’s Oliver’s mom.

She explains that she told her husband she’s out picking up food. Cris and Layla offer to do a deli run to cover her story and so she can have time alone with her son. Fish tearfully admits that he gave up Kyle since he knew it hurt his mother finding them together, but he can no longer deny his feelings for his college lover. His roommates return and as his Mom prepares to leave, he realizes she wants nothing more to do with him.

Meanwhile Fish’s Dad rings the bell for service at Angle Square Hotel since he wants to check out and get a copy of his bill. John and Marty enter the lobby and offer to leave Roxie a note. When the guest looks skeptical, Saybrooke assures him he can trust the Chief of Detectives for Llanview PD. Introductions are exchanged and it dawns on John that Oliver is his son. “Not any more,” the father curtly replies. When he explains that his son is a homo, McBain says that it’s none of his business. Marty gently adds that she walked away from her son and it was the worst mistake of her life.

Kyle and his current beau come down the hotel stairs and kiss. George explodes as he recognizes Lewis as his son’s college friend and accuses the lad of corrupting Oliver. His wife joins him and begs her husband to go say goodbye to their son. He storms out of the hotel.

Across town, at Llanfair Tea and Todd are there to tell Viki and Charlie about the upcoming nuptials --- tonight! The matriarch questions the rush. The men leave and Delgado admits marrying Todd may be just the biggest mistake of her life. When Viki says she thinks that Manning is out of Blair’s system, Tea reminds her of how the blonde knocked everyone out of the way to catch Viki’s bridal bouquet. Todd also threatened to burn down the cabana when he discovered one of Blair’s trysts’s hiding in there. She adds how the two even slept together very recently, and then admits she too has her own secrets. Viki warns her not hold anything back.

Over at LaBoulaie, Blair updates Dorian about the current inhabitant of the cabana. She gleefully explains that Ross is still married to Tea and she can’t wait to drop the bombshell on Todd at his nuptials. She explains that Tea signed papers but Rayburn never filed them. Blair also thinks the attorney is hiding something even bigger than a hubby. Todd has joined Jack on the stairs in the foyer and asks his son to be his Best Man. The child demands to know what’s in it for him. The bottom line is that Jack wants his parents back together, but he’s willing to negotiate for an appearance as his Dad’s Best Man. Jack enters the parlor just as Blair’s bragging to Dorian that Ross will be on her arm at the wedding. “Is that the guy in the cabana?” he asks. Blair promises her son she’ll make it worth his while to keep his mouth zipped.

At Cole’s apartment are Starr, Hope and Langston as well as Cole. Markko should be on the way, but is delayed at the diner. Mr. Rivera has just entered the diner and dumps on his son that his wife is leaving him and it’s all because of Markko! He still can’t believe that his son is going against the morals he was raised by. Markko begs him to accept Langston so they can be a family again, adds that his mom has his address, and then leaves the diner. Across the room, Bo tries to reason with Matthew that’s the surgery is not worth the risk and losing another son would be devastating. When David tries to interject that he’s also Bo’s son, the commish yells, “Like hell!” Ernesto sadly listens as Buchanan passionately pleads his case with Matthew. After the boy leaves, David suggests Bo give him time and suggests if he doesn’t, he may lose him forever.

Markko arrives at the apartment and tells of his parent’s situation. Langston feels responsible, but the lad tells her it’s his choice to take her over his family. Marty and John sip coffee in a public area. When the shrink asks her beau if he knew about Fish’s sexual preference, McBain tells her it doesn’t matter. Back at Oliver’s, his parents arrive. His dad quickly tells him he loves him, but will never accept his lifestyle. He will instead pray for him. The parents leave with his mom promising to call in a few days. Back at Cole’s, Markko answers a knock at the door. It’s Ernesto inviting his son and Langston to have supper at the Rivera’s. At Llanfair, Tea tells Todd she has something to tell him.
