When it comes to making huge amounts of money for minimum effort, there is nothing to beat Internet marketing - allegedly! While this may be true in some cases, it is a simple fact that to discern the truth from fiction is almost impossible when it comes to the many online money-making claims on the Internet today.
That said, the straight truth is that there are a boatload of people out there who are not geniuses or Internet marketing Gurus, but who do make a very comfortable living online.
They do not however, make all this money by sitting back and doing nothing - even though that may be the claim to 'suck you in'.
Fact is that just like ever other kind of success, Internet marketing needs dedication and hard work to succeed.
Different ways to make online cash: Affiliate marketing: This is possibly one of the biggest and best ways to make money online.
You simply promote a product (digital is simplest), that someone else has created, and rake in the commissions through a company like ClickBank for instance.
It is clean, efficient, and can really bring in the cash.
Usually you will start with a blog site or a 'focus' site and promote a particular product in the way of a review, or indeed just write articles on the ailment (as in this case) and leave it to the reader to click on your advertisment.
This advert is linked to your own affiliate id that is produced by ClickBank , and Geronimo! - your first affiliate commission.
Amazon is another way to make affiliate cash online.
The difference is that the commissions by and large, are very much lower than they are with digital products.
The average commission for an Amazon sale is 4-6% whereas a typical digital product (typically an eBook) is 50-75%.
Also the Amazon products in my own experience are more difficult to rank in Google for as Amazon themselves are usually at the top spot.
Facebook and Twitter, are fast becoming major sources of revenue for affiliate marketers.
If you have over 4-500 friends on either, then it is possible to promote many types of products through this media.
The secret here is not to totally hack-off your friends! AdSense: AdSense is a PPC (pay per click) method of generating income that works by simply placing Google ads on your site, and when someone clicks on the advert than you are paid a commission by Google.
It is a very slick method of generating income, and indeed can be very lucrative.
The system itself is well run by Google and has all sorts of anti-fraud devices built in to avoid abuse of the system.
One possible drawback is that if you mistakenly - or otherwise - click on your own adverts, then Google will find out and will ban you! Do not click on your own adverts, or get anyone else to click on your ads - they will find out and you will get banned, with the possible loss of any revenue that they hold.
YouTube advertising, is gaining in popularity.
This is run by AdSense placing ads on your popular videos and you in turn get the commissions, you do not even need a website to get revenue from this potentially very lucrative income stream.
What you do need though is an original video owned and produced by you, that gets loads of traffic.
Summary: I have found that the way to make money online for me, is quite simply the 'focus' type of sites.
Medical subjects such as Tinnitus Treatment or other medical conditions make good 'focus' sites for affiliate marketing purposes.
General information sites or popular blogs are good for AdSense revenue, particularly if they are in the finance or insurance niche.
The main thing is to get a product that you are interested in, and get writing!
