Super heroes, dinosaurs, mysteries and more! 2015 promises to be a busy year at the box office, and kids and families will have no shortage of weekend movie nights. Here is a list of the new kids and family movies coming out in 2015. Most of the movies included are rated G or PG, but PG-13 "family" movies has become a major genre, so I also include those movies that are aimed at and marketed to families and kids (superhero movies, adventures movies and such).

• STRANGE MAGIC (January 23, PG): This animated fantasy adventure is based on Shakespeare's classic A Midsummer Night's Dream!

• SPONGEBOB: SPONGE OUT OF WATER (February 6): Based on the popular SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon.
• JUPITER ASCENDING (February 6): This sci-fi adventure film was pushed from 2014 and will finally land in theaters this year.

• CINDERELLA (March 15): A live action Disney version of the classic fairy tale story.
• THE DIVERGENT SERIES: INSURGENT (March 20): Based on the bestselling novel series.
