• Management consultants require a wide base of knowledge, in addition to their finance specialization. In temporary positions within companies, they address a broad range of problems and issues for which they develop solutions. • Graduates with an MBA in finance often start in an investment bank or investment firm at the associate level. They may work in mergers and acquisitions, real estate or equities research.
