Gigs in 2011
Ok it is the start of a new year, many glorious gigs are to come and I am looking forward to them.
A gig I already have tickets for is Hit The Deck at Rock City in Nottingham.
This line-up includes 2 bands I can not wait to see live, Cancer Bats and Comeback Kid.
There are many other great gigs I have already tried getting tickets to but failed.
One of these being a Foo Fighters gig at Milton Kyenes.
When I heard about this gig I was pretty ecstatic and was confident I would get a ticket.
Unfortunately I didn't make it in time for them because they had sold out within 20 minutes.
I was horrified.
I brushed it off though and didn't want to think that was the only gig of the year to come.
So I started searching round and found a few bits of new on gigs to come so I will keep my eye out and get in there straight away the next time.
One other major gig I wanted to go to was Glastonbury, the greatest of the great.
I really had excitement just thinking about going to the most popular festival in the UK, unfortunately the tickets had also sold out and now I will have to wait till 2013 before it is possible to go.
This is because 2012 they are not doing the festival to let the fields recuperate from the previous years of rocking out.
So what do you good people think is going to be your best gig for 2011? And have you missed out on any gigs you wanted to see?
