Requirements

• For documents to open directly inside your browser, you must have the Adobe Reader application installed on your computer. You can then install the plug-in from the Adobe website to be able to view PDF documents from the browser.
  
  

Reader Settings

• The Adobe Reader application also needs to be set to allow documents to be accessible via the browser. Under the Internet category, make sure "Display PDF in Browser" is checked.
  
  

Limitations

• As of 2010, Adobe Reader plug-ins for Mac OS Gecko-based browsers such as Firefox and SeaMonkey do not exist.
