Billie arrives at the pub and approaches Philip, who wonders why she’d rather hang out with him instead of attend the wedding.
She consoles him over being in love with Belle. Philip shares his theory that Belle will still be thinking of him instead of Shawn when she walks down the aisle. He reveals that all he did was send a little reminder to Belle, insisting that he had no choice since she wouldn’t take his calls. She notes how scary he’s starting to sound, comparing him to Victor. Billie urges him to let it go, but he refuses. “You may be satisfied spending the rest of your life alone and miserable, but I’m not. I’m gonna fight,” he asserts. “It’s nice to know you think so little of me,” scoffs Billie. Philip tells her to wait. “No, you wait. You know what? I am single. I am sexy, and I am fabulous. And just because I don’t have a man in my life does not make me a miserable human being,” she boldly declares. She admits she could use a little romance, but insists that when the time is right, it will happen. Lucas then arrives and informs Philip that the wedding’s over and warns him that Shawn will flip out if he’s there.
“When the time is right, it’ll happen,” he assures Billie before walking away with his tail between his legs. Lucas questions Billie as to what that was all about. She gives Lucas a quick Happy Thanksgiving kiss on the cheek, then leaves.
Maggie and the rest of the gang arrive at the pub. Kayla gets a call from Stephanie and suspects something’s wrong and says she’ll be right there.
Outside the pub, Belle and Shawn share a kiss before preparing to make their grand entrance. She takes his watch from him, claiming she doesn’t want to know what time it is since she doesn’t want their day to end. They share more kisses. The two newlyweds then make their entrance as Mr. and Mrs. Shawn Brady, which elicits cheers and applause. Doug then stands before the crowd and announces that Grandpa Shawn is fine, and it turns out that he had some indigestion. He then makes a touching speech about celebrating a wedding on Thanksgiving Day. He recalls how they’ve experienced miracles, lost loves were reunited as in Abe and Lexie’s case, two new members were welcomed into the family, and they re-welcomed another as in Steve’s case. He makes special mention of John, who is there in spirit. “Dear God we miss you John. We always will,” he professes. Doug welcomes Belle into their extended family. The song “I’ll Be” by Edwin McCain plays in the background as Shawn and Belle share their first dance as husband and wife. Belle then tosses her bouquet of flowers to Chelsea, the only single girl at the wedding. Nick approaches her and they share a kiss. “Though our troubles are far from over, together we can beat them, no matter what they are,” says Doug. During the song, we see Kayla at home holding Cordy and Stephanie. Jule approaches Sami and requests to hold Johnny, while Maggie holds baby Ali. Lucas approaches Sami and extends his hand for a dance, which she agrees to.
While opera music plays at Stefano’s mansion, Marlena enters and approaches her worst enemy. “What took you so long?” he wonders. He remarks how he feels as though he’s looking at a vision with how beautiful she looks. She remarks how it was Belle’s wedding day today. Stefano refers to it as another joyous occasion, but Marlena hardly shares the same sentiment with Sami’s recent wedding. She then requests that Stefano give Sami her freedom. Stefano chuckles as he assumes that Sami told her that he forced her into a loveless marriage. “That’s a fact,” replies Marlena, stealing John’s famous quote. Stefano claims that Sami’s head over heels for EJ, which he heard her say so himself. Marlena affirms that Sami loves one man, which is Lucas. Stefano reveals that Sami made a declaration which restored EJ’s will to live. Marlena argues that Sami was forced into it. Stefano doubts Sami can be forced into anything, since she has a mind of her own. Marlena begs Stefano to give Sami her freedom and take EJ back to Italy. Stefano admits that Marlena meant the world to him and agrees to do it for a price. “What is your price?” she questions. “Something that I’ve always wanted. Queen of the Night,” he replies. He confesses to always loving her and wanting her and claims it’s impossible not to make his dream a reality. He implores her to decide if her love for Sami or her hatred for him is most important. She extends her hands to the devil. Stefano marvels how Marlena has brought him joy. “Your Queen is what you’ve made me,” she says. “And you’ve also made me your killer,” she whispers dauntingly in his ear. Stefano looks as though he’s been stabbed through the heart. She confesses how he’s put a darkness in her soul and warns him that when her killer instinct comes out it will come out with a vengeance. She then grabs her coat and leaves. “I’m not finished with you Marlena!” he angrily shouts.
Sami later admits to Lucas how nice it was spending time with him and wonders what they do tomorrow. “It’s not up to me,” he replies before kissing her on the cheek and leaving.
