The big question...
Should I buy or adopt a dog? This is a common question and let me say firstly all dogs are great.
Making a decision to own this pup is like finding a best friend or a companion.
Do you want to know what is great about adopting a this cute pet? Here's my WHY! They are:
  • loyal
  • accept you with your faults (we are never perfect humans)
  • forgiving
  • happy to find a great parent, in a non abusive home, being a great friend

Acceptable to a new home with patience and time D.
Darling to have around O.
Optimistic when they find a great "parent, owner, friendly" place to call home P.
People lovers.
Treat them right being and they will love you forever T.
True and faithful when they have the right surroundings They deserve a second chance.
They all are great.
Don't blame the animal for being bad - blame the owner.
My goal in life is to be as good of a person my dog already thinks I am.

From experience let me share why I adopt only and "save": -Save time from running around and many to select from -Save money -Save a life -Save this wisdom from an expert of over 40 years.
Never a bad adopted one -- young or old--all great.
Use your saved dollars helping dog rescues or shelters that need financial assistance.
No kill shelters is always my goal.
However, I have adopted from kill shelters saving dogs lives many times before I knew of no kill shelters.
No regrets as I found great ones always.
You do know your money has power to help shelters or rescues, kids who have cancer needing medical assistance or even an orphanage.
There are many more ways to use your money in helping.
What a blessing to be a giver.
My friend, Bob Burg, wrote "The Go Giver!" You will never be sorry, but for some you may need grooming on learning how to be a great owner.
This includes feeding the dog healthy foods (see my post about What's in Dog Food), petting, brushing, hugging the dog just like humans need.
