How to Fix XP Winsock
- 1). Click "Start", "Run", "cmd", then "OK". This takes you to the command prompt.
- 2). Type "netsh winsock reset", then "Enter". Omit the quotation marks.
- 3). Restart the computer.
- 1). If you do have limited access to the Internet, go to http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9662461. Go down to the "Fix It" link and click "Run" in the download box.
