Have a Better Party With a Karaoke Machine

Regardless of if you invest in a Karaoke machine or simply rent one, having one available at a party can make your party the talk of the office or friends for weeks and months to come.
The machines have come a long way from a tape player and tiny TV monitor built into a boom box.
Many are high-tech rigs, with outputs for multiple TV's as well as good sounding backing tracks.
There are many ways to get Karaoke in your home including the following: 1.
Rentals If you only want Karaoke for a night, renting a Karaoke outfit from a party rental company can be a great option.
With a party rental, you get a package that sometimes includes lights, a professional PA, good microphones, not to mention the widest selection of music.
Some of these packages actually include a computer loaded with all the songs you could ever want or need for the most discerning and eclectic music lovers.
2.
Buying Karaoke machines are available still and have the ability to play special CD's that have the words synced up.
The cost of a Karaoke machine and CD's is not too expensive but building a song collection can be an investment.
The machines themselves range in price depending on options such as the number of video outputs, the type of video outputs and other factors.
Some of the new Karaoke units will play files either burned off the computer or through a built in USB port hooked up to a portable storage device such as a flash driver or portable hard drive all from special websites that provide Karaoke songs for people to use.
A typical karaoke setup will include a couple low-grade microphones but typically are compatible with better microphones, which can be a great investment for the serious Karaoke singer.
Better microphones will also be more durable in the long run.
3.
Buy a Modern Game System The hot game systems that are out now, including the Wii, PlayStation 3 and X-box 360 all have games that are essentially Karaoke.
These games sometimes come bundled with microphones and are typically a good value, especially if you own the game system already.
The song choice can be limited without downloading extra songs at an extra cost.
On top of this, the microphones are of poor quality and are not all that durable.
They must be replaced with other microphones designed for the game system and the selection is limited.
While good for a once off party, this option is least desirable when it comes to more frequent Karaoke parties.
