How to Cover the Chest on a V-Neck Dress
- 1). Wear something with a higher neckline underneath the dress. Camisoles are a common choice, and they range in styles from pretty lace to simple cotton. Turtlenecks and long-sleeved shirts would also work in colder weather.
- 2). Layer pieces on top of the dress. A sweater or jacket will keep you both covered and warm. For warmer weather, try a blouse or t-shirt to create the appearance of a two-piece outfit.
- 3). Use a smaller piece of fabric to cover your cleavage. While commercially made options are available, you can make your own covers by simply pinning a strip of fabric to your bra straps. Experiment with different fabrics and colors to create different looks.
