    • 1). Measure the height of one of your bullnose tiles. Hold your tape measure to the wall and measure up from the floor at that height, adding 1/4 inch to it and marking it with your pencil. Move the tape measure 2 feet over and do the same thing. Continue marking across the length of the wall every 2 feet.

    • 2). Set your level between two of the marks and draw a straight line. Move the level over and repeat. Continue until you've drawn a straight line all the way across the wall at the height of the tiles (plus 1/4 inch).

    • 3). Mark the middle of the horizontal line. Spread thinset mortar under the line and along the wall for a few feet. Press your first two tiles into place on either side of the center mark, with the top bullnosed edges right on the horizontal line. The bottom edge should be about 1/4 inch off the floor.

    • 4). Spread more adhesive and hang additional tiles in both directions, working toward the walls. Cut the tiles at the ends on your tile cutter to fit. Let the tiles set overnight.

    • 5). Spread grout on the tiles with your grout float, pressing it into the lines. Don't grout the bottom space against the floor. Wipe off the excess grout from the tile face with a damp sponge. Let the grout set for a day.

    • 6). Run a line of caulk in the space at the bottom of the tiles, along the floor, filling it completely.
