Not Enough Qualified People

  • In a time of high unemployment, leaders still have a problem recruiting and retaining enough qualified people to do the job. Positions go unfilled and work is not done because there are not enough talented people to hire. Many leaders blame this on our educational system that does not prepare students properly for the workforce. Others seek to point the finger at a lack of work ethic among new employees. True leaders diagnose the problem and develop solutions, like training, to fill in the skills gaps. Talented people make an organization successful.
