Tein springs are an aftermarket spring that is commonly found on many sports cars. There are many types of makes and models supported including but not limited to: Acura, Honda, Toyota, GM, Ford, Audi, BMW, Dodge, Infiniti, Lexus, Mazda and many others. Tein springs are said to give the driver improved handling in all weathers, as well as lowered suspension drops without losing any quality of the ride. The tein springs named the S Tech are considered the lowest riding springs available, without using the adjustable dampers. For more than 20 years, Tein springs have underwent serious planning and analysis of all springs to ensure quality performance under all conditions. For a sensory evaluation, tein prototypes use a G sensor as well as stroke sensors before the springs go into their production phase.

Most tein springs are used in lieu of a lowering kit where springs must be heated or cut, and this old school way of lowering created a loss of ride and a jaw jiggling effect. Tein springs are created and used in lieu of the old school way of lowering, because no one wants their springs to make the entire ride unenjoyable. It is not great to have a nice looking car that is lowered and fixed up, only to find that you arent able to ride in it.

There are tein springs that are made with a progressive design, silencer rubbers and a powder coat finish. These offers about a one and a half inch drop, for increased handling on the road and an aggressive look. These are made to be used with OEM shocks or replacement shocks only. Every spring is tested in North America, and the best balance between comfort and performance are required before sale. There is always a one year warranty on all tein springs sold, where the length is guaranteed to never sag more than about 5 mm.

Features of the tein springs include green powder coated finish, silencer rubber on certain models, a progressive spring rate design as well as construction of chrome vanadium. The average spring kit purchased will include 4 individual tein springs, 4 main springs, silencer rubbers if included in your model, 2 decals as well as warranty information.

The tein springs named driving master basic dampers are a basic damper that has a coilover system that increases stability and grip. The shell case is shorter, and this allows for better performance and improved ride at lowered heights. Offering steel construction and twin tub internals, larger piston diameters of 22mm, adjustable ride heights through the spring seat and powder coating, the features of tein springs are more than average. In every tein driving master kit sold, you will receive 4 shock absorbers and main springs with bump rubbers, 2 hook spanners, 4 dust covers, 12 seat locks and the instructions for your specific make and model. Some models come with helper springs, and if yours includes these, they will be provided in the damper kit you purchase.
