    Essential Facial

    • An essential facial takes a basic approach to skin rejuvenation. This type of facial works best on normal skin and includes cleansing, exfoliating, moisturizing and massaging the face. The cleansing process removes dirt and oil, while the exfoliating process rids the face of dead skin and blackheads. The skin is then moisturized and massaged simultaneously to hydrate and revitalize the face.

    Paraffin Facial

    • The purpose of a paraffin facial is to restore a bright, even skin tone complexion. This type of facial entails wrapping the face in layers of gauze, then applying a paraffin mask over the top to seal in moisture. The moisture emitted from the paraffin mask helps to produce a radiant and youthful appearance. Other types of facials worth looking into are aromatherapy, acne and collagen facials.

    Alpha Hydroxy Acid Peel

    • A alpha hydroxy acid peel produces a smoother looking face. With this type of peel, glyclocic, lactid or a fruit acid solution is applied to the face, set to dry, then peeled off. The results from an alpha hydroxy acid peel are usually temporary.

    Trichloracetic Peel

    • The process for a trichloracetic peel takes approximately seven to 10 days. After the acid is applied to your face, the outer layer of skin slowly peels off and reveals a newer, more radiant layer of skin. It's a good idea to stay out of the public until the process is complete. Another skin peel worth mentioning is a phenol peel, which helps combat wrinkles and some pre-cancerous skin cells. It is recommended that you see a physician before getting a phenol peel.
