In Goldman Sachs We Trust?

Goldman Sachs is an investment bank, largest on the planet and as we all know they are indeed a huge player on Wall Street.
Many folks believe that it was Wall Street which helped cause this monstrous economic crash, later deemed to be the worst since the Great Depression.
In reality AIG's London Office was the one insuring the mortgage bundles.
Today, it seems not only is Goldman Sachs for the most part running the show, with their man in the Treasury of the United States government, but some say that they might also be running away with the show.
You see, some critics claim - and when I say critics I refer to everyone from Jim Cramer to the folks on all the TV financial news networks; to the financial writers in the WSJ, Investor's Business Daily, Economist, and Financial Times - that the US has surrendered our entire nation and economic might over to an investment bank, who'd rather like to run things and make the FED look insignificant.
Remember these investment banks are not like other banks, even if they merge with real banks to become all inclusive.
Remember it is still all about making money, where ever it can, and as fast as it can.
Some charge that indeed, their goal is to do so without regard to tomorrow or our great Republic's ability to continue as the Super Power economic powerhouse it is today.
After all, they are a commercial enterprise, and that is their job; to make money - that is what they are supposed to do say their defenders.
The other day a top executive from Golden Sachs mentioned on the Financial News that; "We are doing God's work.
" and a financial critic on TV said something like; "Oh, ha ha ha, is that what you call it, so on the dollar bill, (that is if there is anything left of it after this gigantic fiasco and global economic crisis) instead of "In God We Trust" it will read "In GS We Trust," as in GS=Goldman Sachs?" Well, if things keep going the way they are then very soon, G.
S.
will have more money than god could ever hope to accrue, and all of it will be backed by guess who; You.
"Remember he with the Golden sacks rules!" stated someone in the Financial Times the other day.
Apparently, it is time for anyone criticizing G.
S.
to shut-up now, or be shut-out later, admit the critics, thus we should soon see an end to all this nonsense.
Why you ask? Because we all know what happens with absolute power, don't we, or did we all forget how that works, Biff? (reference to Back to the Future, a Hollywood Movie).
Indeed, it is my sincere hope that maybe most of you will see what's ahead and consider your investments and financial security based on the new reality.
Think on it.
