Windows Media Player Is Slow Loading

    • 1). Click on the "Start" button from your desktop and then click on the "Control Panel" option.

    • 2). Click on the "Hardware and Sound" option and then a new dialog box will pop up on the screen. Click on the "Sound" icon.

    • 3). Click on the "Playback" tab and then right-click on the "Speakers/Headphones" option. Click on the "Properties" option.

    • 4). Click on the "Effects" tab and then click on the "Disable System Effects" option. Click on the "OK" button.

    • 5). Close out the windows that are open and then open the Windows Media Player application. Click on a song or video to play from your library.

    • 6). Click on the "Now Playing" option and then click on the "Select Now Playing options" button. Move your mouse over the "Enhancements" option.

    • 7). Click on the "Play Speed Settings" option and then move the slider in the settings page to the right side for a faster playback speed.
