SIP Trunking Services 2

SINCE SIP trunking services do not need to have separate phone lines because the IP phones are connected to the local area network of the office and this reduces the expenses of the company, more companies are changing to SIP trunk technology. There are different SIP packages and price offering from the service providers which depends entirely on the company's needs.

Granted that the current IP-PBX has a lot of features, it would be great if some of the load will be given to the network. Let's say the IP PBX has simultaneous ring capability which means that when there is a call in your office number, it will also ring in the desk, mobile phones and home-office which means that one single will take up three call paths which are one incoming call and two out going calls. Similarly, SIP trunking services will place the incoming call to your phone on the desk by passing through the IP PBX but the calls for the mobile phones and the home office phones were done from the network equipment.  This will lessen the number of the SIP circuits from three to one and if the SIP trunking is used simultaneously with the non-IP PBX, you can still avail of the same features like the call acceptance and rejection, visual voice mail, incoming and outgoing routes and other features.

SIP trunk is capable of delivering voice packages. The service depends entirely on the bandwidth, the more bandwidth there is, the greater the number of voice calls the service provider can deliver at a single time. Since there is no actual circuits or trunks it is easy to charge the clients where in the customers are satisfied with that set up. When the service provider tells their customers certain number of circuits are available for delivery, it means that they are actually selling the number of simultaneous calls. With the various SIP trunking services, customers will be able to fit in all the simultaneous calls with the idea that the voice traffic will take priority over the data applications that are sharing with the same internet.

The company will benefit more if the they have many DID numbers, a service provider can supply up to 200 customers at no additional cost in their SMB package and additional seventy five cents a month for the additional number. Some SIP trunk providers offer cheap and sometimes free DID numbers for the local calls in the area of the company. The DID number will allow you to have your presence felt in the area
