How to Make Levels in FPS Creator X10
- 1). Open FPS Creator X10.
- 2). Click "File" then "Preferences" to open the editing preferences window. Select your preference for Shadows, Effects, Texture Quality and single player or multiplayer. Click "OK" to continue.
- 3). Click "Library" then select "Segments."
- 4). Click "Rooms" to access the library files containing room segments. The segments include different types of walls, hallways and backgrounds.
- 5). Select a room segment to begin building your level.
- 6). Left-click on the window to begin adding rooms. Holding the left mouse button and drag the mouse to create multiple room segments together, essentially creating a larger room.
- 7). Click the "Walls" button located on the toolbar. Left-click and drag the mouse in your room segment to begin creating walls in your level.
- 8). Repeat Steps 5, 6 and 7 to create your basic level design.
- 9). Press "F" to access the floor menu. Select a texture for the floors in your level.

Click the "Paint Wall Segments" button located on the toolbar. Select a texture to paint the walls of your level. - 11
Click "Add New Entity" to open the Entity Library. Entities include things like tables, chairs and other basic objects for your level. - 12
Select an entity to add to your level. Left-click in any of your rooms to add the entity to that location. Repeat this process for any entities you want in your level.
