How to Rent a Car by the Hour
- 1). Renting cars by the hour are only done through a few companies. The most popular is ZipCar.com. This company has locations throughout the United States who offer car rentals, but only hourly!
- 2). As you will rent the car, you also rent the insurance for the vehicle, a paid parking place to park the vehicle and all the amenities of car rentals.
- 3). To make a reservation, you need to find if there is an office of ZipCar in the city you live in (the majority of cities this is available in is College towns.)
- 4). After locating the office, the ZipCar company will ask if you are using the vehicle for personal or business use (personal is cheaper) from there you make a reservation using a major credit card.
- 5). At the time and location set, you show up and drive off with your hourly car rental. But if you decide to eat out, take my advice and whip through the fast food drive thru so you have plenty of time to do all what you need to do!
