How to Make Office 2007 Run Faster in Windows XP
- 1). Launch Office Word 2007. Click “Start” from the system tray located at the bottom of the desktop. Click “All Programs” and click “Microsoft Office” and then click “Microsoft Office Word 2007.”
- 2). Click the “Microsoft Office (Logo)” button located at the top of the program, click the “Word Options” button and click “Add-Ins” from the left pane of the Word Options window.
- 3). Select the “COM Add-ins” from the “Manage” drop-down, then click “Go.”
- 4). Click the add-ins you no longer use and click the “Remove” button.
- 1). Launch the Control Panel. Click “Start” from the system tray located at the bottom of the desktop. Click “Settings” and "Control Panel."
- 2). Double click the “Fonts” folder to reveal the fonts installed on your computer.
- 3). Click the font you wish to remove to select it. Right click the font and click “Delete.” You do not have to delete all the fonts you don’t want. You can simply move them to a temporary folder. This means you create a separate folder for these fonts. Just make sure to name it appropriately so you won’t forget where you filed them.
