Fatty foods, especially those with trans fats, and processed sugars should be avoided. Portion control is one of the most important aspects of your diet. As a rule, never eat when you feel full, and only eat a snack if you feel hungry. It is easy to eat too fast during a meal and to continue eating despite being full. Slowing down how fast you eat can help reduce calorie intake.

    Stress Reduction

    • Stress can play a large role in weight gain and the body's resistance to weight loss. Getting plenty of sleep at night will ensure that the body is well rested and able to give maximum effort at work and during workouts. Taking breaks from work to relax and meditate periodically can help reduce stress. Yoga is a great activity for reducing stress. It also increases flexibility and can be used as an aerobic workout if it is intense enough.
