      The United States is replete with birthday party venues to accommodate children of all ages and interests. Water-lovers can spend their day at an indoor water park, while adventure enthusiasts can ride thrill rides throughout their special day. Kids can enjoy a party at their favorite restaurant, play a round of miniature golf, bake up a storm or climb three-story play structures.

    Kid Concepts U.S.A.

    • Preteen and younger children can enjoy a birthday party at an indoor playground, such as the Kid Concepts U.S.A. play center in California. The facility is 9,000 square feet big and comes with a three-level play structure with more than 50 interactive activities. Other activities and equipment include a toddler's area with ball pits and slides, a rock climbing wall, miniature toddler gym, play restaurant and dress-up area, karaoke stage area and an arts and crafts room. Birthday parties at Kids Concepts U.S.A. are available for small and large groups of up to 100 children. Party packages range from a basic party to a private or slumber party. A private party entitles the party group to the entire facility for up to 150 people for two and a half hours, lunch or dinner, drinks, birthday cake, decorations and goodie bags. A slumber party at the center can be arranged for up to 25 children and comes with exclusive use of the facility from 9 p.m. until 9 a.m., invitations, birthday cake and bagels and drinks in the morning.

    Putz n Glo

    • Parents can arrange for a birthday party at a miniature golf venue, such as the Putz n Glo in South Dakota. Putz n Glo offers indoor black light miniature golf, a human maze adventure course, gemstone panning and video arcade games. Birthday party packages for children include invitations, admission for up to eight people, one round of miniature golf, a private party room, drinks, a gift and a complimentary coupon for a free return visit for each child. Additional add-ons include lunch or dinner meals of hamburgers and hot dogs, balloon decorations and a glow-in-the-dark necklace for each guest.

    Young Chefs Academy

    • Many children enjoy making their own kitchen concoctions, and the Young Chefs Academy offers classes, cooking clubs and birthday party packages for up to 36 children. Birthday parties at the academy are suitable for children at least four years of age and parents can select from a variety of packages to customize their child's birthday experience. Party packages include 1 1/2 hour pizza party and calzone party for children between the ages of four and 12, and a pasta party or ice cream party for children at least 10 years of age. All party packages include invitations, paper chef hats for each guest, decorations, drinks and the group-prepared meal. Additional add-ons available for purchase include decorating and gift bags with pizza cutters, measuring spoons, spatulas and a complimentary coupon.
