There Are Many Uses For Portable Closets

Portable closets are a relatively simple piece of furniture.
They are made of plastic or metal, and are used to hang clothes.
They will often have a cover of some sort, as well as additional storage spaces like shelves, drawers, and pockets.
Despite the simplicity of the form of this piece of furniture, it's actually quite versatile and can be used in a number of situations.
If you're trying to get your bedroom closet organized, one of the tips that is often given is to separate your clothing by season.
Out of season clothing goes all the way to the right of the hanger, or the back of the closet.
With a portable closet, you don't even have to mess with that.
Out of season clothing can be safely stored in your attic, basement, garage, or anywhere you have extra space.
That leaves plenty of room in your main closet for in-season clothing.
Another great place for a portable closet is a dorm room.
As a college student, you don't really have much money to go out and purchase elaborate armoires if you need additional storage space.
Some dorms might even have rules against bringing in extra furniture.
On one hand, you could get rid of some of your clothing, but no one really wants to do that.
Your best option is to go grab a $30 portable closet from Target or Walmart.
Finally, if your job requires that you travel frequently but also stay in your travelled-to location for an extended period of time, you might find a portable closet useful.
Generally the closet space in long-term accommodations lives a bit to be desired, if it exists at all.
You can, again, hop over to Target or Walmart, and pick up one of these closets, and sell it on Craigslist when you leave, or just leave it behind in the room for the next person - they are rather inexpensive after all.
