How to Defeat Morning Sickness

Morning sickness is probably the No.
1 complaint of pregnancy! Although, statistically, they say that only about 50% of women actually experience morning sickness, it sure doesn't seem that way when you talk to REAL women! (Who are "they" anyway?) If you've had morning sickness in even one pregnancy, you know the misery.
It can completely disrupt your life, and you wonder if you will ever feel normal again.
Not to mention that it hardly ever happens just in the morning! It's more like "all day sickness" for most of us..
..
but for purposes of this article, I'll just use the term morning sickness, since we all know what that means.
Theory says: morning sickness may strike due to a number of causes: 1.
Levels of HCG and estrogen are increasing.
2.
Progesterone level is increasing, thus, resulting to stomach acid.
3.
Level of blood sugar is low.
4.
Level of sensitivity to certain tastes and odors is increasing Well, fine.
But what should I do to help myself out of the pain and misery ?? Everyone has different pieces of advice to give women to help alleviate morning sickness.
Obviously, trying to eat a dry piece of toast and sip water slowly are the most common suggestions.
However the reality usually refuses to follow the theory.
You might not even get around to feeling hungry before you start to feel sick, and once you feel sick you certainly don't feel like eating, so you don't..
..
and then you feel worse and worse until the inevitable happens.
Not everything is lost in the fire of battle.
Heads up.
I'm very pleased to introduce to you method I used to overcome my everlasting problems with morning sickness.
It is entirely based on natural and non-medical tratment.
Apparentely it's been known for centuries but because our society and lifestyle is so oriented to "real" medicine we have overlooked it for so long.
I'm talking about ACUPRESSURE.
It is an ancient healing art using the fingers and other parts of the body to skillfully press key points, which stimulate the body's natural self-curative abilities.
Acupuncture and acupressure use the same pressure points and meridians, but acupuncture employs needles, while acupressure uses gentle to firm pressure.
That means litterary anybody can do it.
!!!! To rise your concern and brace up facts mentioned above I'd like to say that not only ordinary people ( like me ;o) have discovered acupressure.
Doctors JW Dundee, FB Sourial, RG Ghaly and PF Bell from Department of Anaesthetics ( Queen's University, Belfast ) recently run research called Acupressure reduces morning sickness.
From their results I show just the crucial point: A prospective study was designed to test the efficacy of pressure at the acupuncture points, in preventing morning sickness.
Group of patients in early pregnancy recorded the severity and frequency of sickness over a period of 4 consecutive days following daily pressure at selected acupresure points.
When the data are adversely weighted, the group shown a significant reduction in sickness.
No side effects occurred in the group and while anticipation of benefit may offer a partial explanation for the findings, pressure at the acupresure points appears to have a substantial therapeutic effect.
What more do you need ?? I think the revolution is about to start...
