How to Make a Queen Crown Out of Paper
- 1). Cut a strip of cardboard, approximately four inches wide, long enough to go around your head (or your child's head) and still overlap slightly.
- 2). Cut a strip of construction paper that is the same length as the cardboard but a few inches wider. Align the bottom edges and glue the construction paper to the cardboard.
- 3). Cut zig zag lines in the part of the construction paper that is not glued to the cardboard.
- 4). Draw images of jewels, stars, butterflies or other designs on separate sheets of construction paper. Color these images with crayons or markers and glue them to the construction paper front of the crown.
- 5). Glue small embellishments to the front of the crown, such as rhinestones, beads, buttons or pom poms.
- 6). Make a ring of the crown and staple the two ends together so that it will fit securely on the head.
