How to Burn a CD With the XP Media Center
- 1). Open "Windows XP Media Center."
- 2). Insert a blank or rewritable CD in your CD burner.
- 3). Click "Burn" found at the top of the Media Center program.
- 4). Click "Audio CD" from the drop-down menu.
- 5). Drag the songs you want to burn from the Details pane to the Burn List pane. You can also select by album, playlist, genre or a particular artist. Clear the entire burn list by clicking the "X" icon at the top right section of the Burn List. Or, right-click on a song and select "Remove From List" from the menu.
- 6). Arrange the songs in the order you prefer by clicking on and dragging the songs to the desired location.
- 7). Click "Start Burn" at the bottom of the Burn List pane once you have selected and arranged your list. Insert additional CDs, if you are burning multiple CDs, and click "Start Burn" until you have completed the entire list.
