Building an Online Empire - How to Become a Celebrity on the Internet Using the 5 Pronged Approach
If you are just getting started on the internet, you may be lost or confused as to how and where to get started.
When I saw my own students struggling with this, it prompted me to create my 5 pronged approach to building an online empire.
This 5 prongs represent the five areas that you must focus on to achieve success online.
When used simultaneously, these 5 prongs will increase you visibility, credibility, and profitability as you create an online empire.
Blogging is the first of the 5 prongs.
Your blog is your home on the internet, so you must care for it and maintain it as you would your home.
This means that your blog must have a crisp and clean look and feel, and you must also be posting to it regularly.
Make sure to include an opt in box so that visitors to your blog can leave their name and email address.
If you are willing to post every day for the first 90 days, you will be amazed at what happens to your business.
The second prong is article marketing.
Writing and submitting short articles, 250 to 350 words in length, will build your visibility very quickly.
At the end of each article, in the resource box, invite your readers back to your blog.
They will have a chance to see what you are doing online and to leave their contact information.
In addition, you will receive a back link from the article site to your blog, helping you to move up the ranks of the search engines.
Write an article every day for 90 days and this will make you a celebrity in your niche.
Social networking is the third prong.
Make friends on Facebook and start your own group.
This will be a group of people that are interested in your topic.
Let them know what you are doing, and send them links to your blog posts and articles.
Encourage them to sign up on your blog, so that they will become part of your list.
Twitter is also an excellent place to be active.
Connect with people you know at first, and then look for people to follow who may also be good prospects for your business.
The fourth prong is teleseminars and internet radio.
When people hear your voice, you are able to make a special connection with them.
This is a form of public speaking, but you don't have to leave your house to do it.
Affiliate marketing and creating your own products is the fifth prong.
You can't make money online unless you have something to sell! I started by promoting affiliate products and services on my blog and in my articles, and finally I created my own products and courses.
Spend time every day on these 5 prongs and you will see your online business empire grow exponentially.
