Diseases in America on the Rise - What Can You Do About This?
Diseases in America are radically increasing as the toxins from foods, beverages and the air we breathe continue to harm our bodies.
Preservatives, dyes, hormones, steroids, antibiotics, herbacides, pesticides, insecticides, larvacides and all the high fructose corn syrup, corn products, tainted meats and dairies, chemicals get poured into our foods and beverages and create insane amounts of pollution along with auto and factory smog, our human bodies break down.
1 in 600 Americans have Parkinsons and that number is increasing drastically.
Every 70 seconds an American gets hit with Alzheimers.
10 out of every 100 Americans have Diabetes Type 2 and millions more are undiagnosed diabetics.
65% of every American is overweight and 34% are clinically obese.
What have we been doing to ourselves and why do we continue to buy products that we know are dangerous long-term? Complacency and ignorance.
If Americans want to begin on a path of health and wellbeing they need to make far better choices on what they are eating and drinking.
We are now drinking about 25% of our calories everyday.
Since thats the case, we need to begin paying attention to what we are drinking.
Products are laden with sugars and fats and most sugars are the corn syrup and fructose that get into the blood system really fast and thereby jack up our insulin levels leading to diabetes, liver and pancreas issues.
If you are eating your meals from cans, boxes and drive-through restaurants (sit down restaurants too) then you can rest assured you are loading your cells with loads of preservatives and pesticides and most likely close to 100% empty calories with no caloric nutrients.
So, how do we begin to make positive changes? Be sure you are eating whole fruits and vegetables everyday - at least a few times a day.
You should be getting 5-8 servings of fruits and vegetables everyday.
And not just any fruits and vegetables.
You need to be purchasing organic.
Yes, it's more expensive but cancer is far more expensive.
You are worth it.
You need to minimize how many times you eat out at restaurants.
You need to minimize how many times you eat your meals out of cans and boxes.
Spend 10-20 extra minutes a day making your meals from whole ingredients.
Cut your sugar intake way back.
If you are eating sugars make sure it is organic cane sugar juice or Stevia or Truvia - sugar alternatives.
Limit your caffeine intake daily.
Try not to have over 400 mg of caffeine a day and spread that out.
Cut back on your carbohydrates - remember carbs are chains of sugars that jack the blood sugar level and lead to release of insulin and build up fat quickly.
Begin a weight management (weight loss) plan.
This could include products like XOWii Thin - a healthy alternative to diet pills and energy drinks that suppresses your appetite so you don't consume so many calories everyday.
Remember just because they give you a plate full of food doesn't mean you have to eat it all.
You can leave 1/3 - 1/2 of the food on the plate and I am sure you will still get enough calories to please yourself.
You could use meal replacements (powder) that you mix with water or almond milk and these will be lower calorie but still provide you with good fats, protein and low carbs.
