How to Recharge the Battery for an iRiver E100
- 1). Grab the iRiver E100's USB cable and turn on your PC. Find the USB connection on your computer. On desktop PCs, you'll usually find this on the front. However, it may also be on the back of the tower. If you have a laptop, look on either side of the laptop to find the USB connection.
- 2). Connect the smaller end of the E100's USB cable to the USB connection on the player. This is located on the bottom-right edge of the E100.
- 3). Connect the larger end of the USB cable to the USB connection on the PC.
- 4). Monitor the battery level indicator on the E100's screen. The screen will display a confirmation when the battery is full recharged. Expect this to take about an hour. When the battery is finished charging, right-click on the green check mark next to the date on your computer's desktop. Click "Safely Remove." Unplug the USB cable when the prompt tells you it's okay to do so.
