How to Use Pokemon Stones to Make Your Pokemon Evolve in "Pokemon Sapphire"
- 1). Obtain an Evolution Stone, which are found throughout the Johto region. An example could be a Fire Stone, which can be obtained from the Fiery Path on Route 112. The available Evolution Stones in "Pokemon Sapphire" include the Fire Stone, Water Stone, Leaf Stone, Lightning Stone, Moon Stone and Sun Stone.
- 2). Select an Evolution Stone from your bag. You will be asked which Pokemon you would like to use it on. Only certain Pokemon can evolve via an Evolution Stone.
- 3). Select a compatible Pokemon you would like to use your Evolution Stone on. For example, you could use a Water Stone on Polywhirl to evolve him into Poliwrath. Once you use your Evolution Stone, the evolution will happen automatically and cannot be reversed.
