    • 1). Join a gym or buy home exercise equipment so that you can work out every day. This can also be achieved through running or walking long distances. Lots of cardio exercise will help to reduce body fat and provide you with a thin, lean look, while increased strength training activity will cause a boost in your metabolism that helps you to maintain a lower body weight.

    • 2). Eat smaller portions of foods that are as close to their natural forms as possible. Consume less calories than you normally would until you see a reduction in your body weight; avoid consuming less than 1200 calories a day. When making food choices, pick the healthiest options possible. For example, choose whole grain tortillas instead of white tortillas.

    • 3). Shower and groom yourself well on a daily basis so that your hair and skin looks its best. Wash your hair and skin using high quality products, followed by using conditioner and body lotion to prevent dryness. Use scents, such as perfume or body spray, along with deodorant to ensure that you smell your best at all time. Go for regular manicures and pedicures so that even your hands and feet look and feel beautiful.

    • 4). Apply makeup each day before you leave your house so that you can cover up imperfections and enhance your natural features. Find flattering makeup colors that blend well with your skin tone, hair color and eye color.

    • 5). Dress in nice looking clothing, even if you are on a budget. If necessary, shop at second hand stores to find high quality clothing for reduced prices. Stay on top of the current trends and develop a style that is uniquely your own.
